    Rating: 1/5 Stars Terrible customer service over a rental return I have rented carpet cleaners from Lowe’s many times without issue, but my experience at the Altamonte Springs location was absolutely unacceptable. I returned a carpet cleaner and was immediately told I would be charged a $40 cleaning fee because the brushes were dirty. When I looked, there was maybe a teaspoon of carpet fuzz on the brush, which I removed on the spot. I asked to speak to a manager to clarify what the expectation was, but he was just as rude as the cashier. He insisted the machine was dirty. When I asked to see another unit they had in stock to compare, the one he showed me was in similar condition. It was clear they were being unreasonable, but the bigger issue was the terrible attitude from both the staff member and the manager. I will not be returning here again.

    I want to recognize Angela from Customer Service for helping me with an issue on my Home Depot credit card. I didn’t even realize my no-interest financing had ended until we called the credit card company. I went in thinking my balance was around $2,100 and was told it was over $3,000, which really scared me. Angela took the time to help me call and figure out what happened, and that’s when I found out the interest had been added after the promotion expired. Because of the daily payment limits, I couldn’t pay the full amount that same day. Angela told me to come back the next day and she helped me again to finish paying it off. She even followed up after that and contacted the credit card line to make sure everything was updated and my account was fully clear. I’m really thankful for her help. She didn’t rush me and truly cared about getting it resolved.

    I visited the Lowe's Home Improvement in Altamonte Springs yesterday— 02/23/26, to purchase a new water heater, and the entire experience was outstanding—thanks to the incredible team there! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Scott and Joanna. They welcomed me with beautiful, genuine smiles and listened patiently as I explained what I needed. They kindly directed me to the Appliance department and told me to ask for Dan. Dan turned out to be an absolute gem. Dan was delightful from start to finish. He listened attentively to my situation, showed real empathy (I could see it in his expression—he truly understood my frustration and urgency), and asked thoughtful questions like the tank size I needed and how many people live in my home. He then took the time to show me several models, clearly explaining the gallons, warranties, prices, installation costs through Lowe's, and all the details I didn't know about. His knowledge made everything so much less overwhelming! I decided on the perfect one, and when he mentioned a discount if I used a Lowe's card (which I didn't have yet), he walked me through applying for one step by step. He even stayed right by my side while I was on the phone getting instantly approved—talk about going the extra mile! Once approved, Dan coordinated everything with the team handling pickup, delivery, and installation. A lot of the logistics went over my head, but he patiently explained it all in simple terms I could understand. When questions came up about my existing water heater (things I had no idea about), he broke it down clearly and happily helped me answer them over the phone. His shift had already ended, but Dan refused to leave until the entire process was complete and I was fully taken care of. He eased every bit of my frustration and made what could have been a stressful ordeal feel easy and reassuring. Dan is truly "the man"—kind, knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to making sure customers leave happy. Thank you, Dan, for your phenomenal service and for turning a necessary purchase into a great experience. Scott and Joanna set the welcoming tone, but Dan made it unforgettable. Lowe's Altamonte Springs, you've got an amazing team—especially in Appliances. Highly recommend this store and especially asking for Dan if you're shopping for appliances!

    I typically have a great experience when I visit Lowe’s but Dan in appliances added a special touch of wonderful customer service. He shared his knowledge and let us know when something he said was an opinion and I greatly appreciated that. He made purchasing our dishwasher a breeze and a pleasant experience.
