    My parents bought a sectional and ottoman from here with the Raymour and Flanigan insurance. They look nice, but are made very cheap. They have a pet friendly home, and on DAY 2 of the furniture being in their living room— the cats walked across the ottoman and there were holes in it. They did not scratch the ottoman as we kept a close eye on them. Why is the material so cheap that it has holes it in after 2 days? They reached out to Raymour and Flanigan immediately and were told “That is an accumulation of damage so it is not covered under the insurance.” Accumulation of damage after day 2? Make it make sense. They refused to work with my parents to come up with a solution. In fact, they hung up the phone on my mom 3 or 4 different times. The unprofessionalism is crazy. So for other potential buyers— just be aware that even if you purchase their “insurance”, they don’t care about customer satisfaction or the furniture after you walk out the door! You’re better off buying from another store.

    We came in to buy a new mattress. Salesman Washington Marshall met us and took us to the show room. He was ULTRA patient to show us all of our options. No pressure to make a decision. He shared his expertise on each option. We purchased a mattress that mentor needs. Washington gets a 5 star rating.

    Mr Washington Marshall was a great help to me in the store. Very patience & he listened to what I needed. Took his time & showed me living room sets which took some time bcuz I have back problems. Very patience & understanding. Would come back & use Mr Washington as my service guy

    Although the salesperson, Brandi, was helpful, the store computer program had trouble sending me my receipt before I paid for my purchase. I wanted to see the itemization before I paid. When I finally got the bill, I was being charged too much for PA tax and the salesperson could not explain it, nor could fix it. I ended up overpaying in tax by $3 but it couldnt be explained. On a large purchase, is it too much to ask that the math adds up? Not impressed with the process

    My experience with this store and R+F overall has gone from annoying to frustrating to completely absurd. After months of patiently trying and failing to get resolution I can only share my experience here for whatever that's worth. • 9/29 – Ordered a “chair and a half” and matching ottoman. This was after purchasing a sofa here 2 weeks prior. Paid a $310 deposit on the chair and was already approved for a $15,000 store credit card, placing the chair on their 12-month no-interest financing plan. • Delivery Day – After waiting roughly two months, the delivery team arrived with only the ottoman and said the chair had been “lost.” No one bothered to give me a heads-up beforehand. I should have refused the ottoman but thought the chair would be close behind. Silly me. • October–January – I received zero communication from the store about the missing chair. The large ottoman sat in a corner, unused and taking up space for months. I had been excited to have a chair and half over the holidays to relax and read in. If ordered in September surely it would arrive before Christmas? Silly me. • 2/5 – After months with no update from anyone, I called the store myself to ask about the status of the chair. Shockingly, I was told I had a balance due and the chair would not be delivered until I paid it. This was news to me. I had to remind them that the chair had already been placed on the financing plan when I ordered it. Again, no apologies for the inconvenience and screw up - simply blamed the "new computer system". • The explanation I was given was that their “new computer system” caused the issue and that I would need to come back into the store and re-apply for financing because the issuing bank had changed. • At that point, after months of waiting and multiple conflicting explanations, I asked to cancel the chair order, have them pick up the ottoman, and refund my $310 deposit. • The store manager offered a bland apology, scheduled a pickup, and stated the $310 deposit would be refunded to the same card I used to make it (not the store credit card). Fine. • One month later – I still have not received the refund or heard from anyone, so I called the national # instead of the local store. I was then told that instead of a refund, I had been issued a “store credit” for $310. These endless shenanigans are now feeling like consumer fraud. • Today (March 8) – I received a call from the store saying the "new computer system" is asking to confirm if I've received the chair and a half. Um, what? 😂 At this point, the situation has jumped the shark. It has been six months, I never received the chair, the financing account opened for this purchase is useless to me, and my $310 deposit has still not been refunded as promised. I also want to note that both times I was in the store we were immediately asked to post a positive review of our experience. While the sales associates were pleasant to work with that is NOT where the customer experience ends. Aggressive solicitation of positive reviews feels wrong of not flat out deceptive. R+F corporate you need to do better. Your sales people work hard to make you look good and then you let them and the customers down by fumbling the next steps. After multiple conversations with staff over several months, not one person has taken ownership of the situation or made any real effort to resolve it. They have my money and I have nothing. If this is what passes for customer service here, shoppers should think very carefully before doing business with this store. I closed the R+F credit card that I opened and will absolutely not shop at R+F again. They simply didn't care about the my experience once the sale was made, only my cash, and have done abolutely nothing to make this dismal experience right. I'll be calling my credit card company to file a dispute over the refunded deposit.
