- LLLife4StyleDec 20, 20251.0Yesterday bought a toilet seat and when I have open it I saw its bigger then my toilet seat so I packed it back with the plastic it came with. The plastic packaging wasn’t intact either when opened the box. When I try to return it the manager said the plastic is open and they can’t return it. I put the seat in a plastic that came with it and still they don’t return it. Very disappointed and bad customer service. I suggest everyone don’t buy from Lowe’s, buy from Home Depot and they accept returns no matter what. They only reason I went to Lowe’s it the nearest my location. DONT BUY FROM Lowe’s or this location. I didn’t took it back and in front of manager I throw that in the trash, the trash they have in front of return service.

The first time I sat on the phone for 20 minutes just to be hung up on, so I called back and no one is willing to help me. The customer service here is terrible! These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
