    Its okay but you are pretty much on your own. Finding anyone to help is nearly impossible and if you do, you feel like you are annoying them.

    Picking lumber here is a major safety hazard. The one kid working there in a rude manner said he wouldn't bring the stack down to safely pick my lumber. I had to pick my lumber from the third level high. I cand believe Lowes has never had a lawsuit for injury. I have been in there and was struggling to pick good lumber and young associates look and walk right past never offering assistance. I go to Sussex Lumber now where you pick your lumber in the yard at ground level without thousands of pounds above your head. You load it from the stack right into your vehicle and leave.

    Be careful if getting something delivered. Ordinarily, I would just buy what I need in-store. This time rather than doing the half hour one way drive for a string of Christmas lights, I chose delivery. I found bare exposed wiring, so I relented and drove in for a refund/exchange. That went okay, but they do not refund the deliver charge. So they delivered a damaged product and charged me for delivering it! That's poor customer service in my book.

    Went the morning of Black Friday for the mylowes member event where, per the rules, at opening the first 50 members in store received a bucket with an assortment of items and a chance to win a free in stock appliance. The Millsboro, DE store decided they were going to hand out tickets with a QR code and designated ticket number to 50 people at 5am instead. They gave some garbage excuse of "We didn't want them to wait in the cold." I'm sorry, but the rest of us got there and lined up, per the events rules, and waited in the cold for opening, for what? A 20% off $100 or more purchase, and that even expires in less than a week! These "Golden Tickets" if you will, weren't advertised and they weren't a part of the official rules. My suspicion is they told their friends and family about it well ahead of time and basically screwed every lowes member that actually went out when they were supposed to. I also wouldn't be surprised if they selected who was getting the free appliance coupon ahead of time. Absolute scam of an event.
