    Going to Lowe’s in Middletown, DE is always a pleasure. From interactions with store associates, (the red vests) to getting product locations in store, and everything in between, it’s always a five star experience. I have been a Lowe’s customer since moving to Delaware in January, 1993. A very special mention about the self checkout experience, first off, you never feel like you’re alone, there’s always a eager associate nearby. Elizabeth (Liz) Pater is attentive, and always right there when you look puzzled (which, for me is often) or need help with a product lookup, scan or receipt reprint. I highly recommend Lowe’s in Middletown as a “go to” home improvement store.

    Purchased two-(2) gallons of custom color Deck Correct, only to discover after the first gallon was applied that the color wasn't even close to what I to paint department to be matched. When I said something to the associate behind the counter, all she offered was an apology! 😨. See photo’s

    POOR STORE MANAGEMENT!!! Horrible curbside pickup experiences!!! Three bad experiences in a row. 1) After waiting at curbside for 10 minutes, I went inside to the customer service desk. When I asked about curbside, I was told the curbside person did not come in that morning. I asked if they had thought about placing a sign at the curbside parking area stating that curbside was unavailable. To which I was told no. Is there no store management to help the employees and customers resolve this issue? 2) Again, after waiting at curbside for 10 minutes I went inside to the pick up desk. The board showed there was an estimated 45 minute wait. This seems strange as they were only three people listed on the board. I asked the man who was waiting in line what was going on. He stated there was only one person working there and they had been working on an order for over 30 minutes because it was messed up. About that time the poor kid working on the orders came flying by, obviously frustrated. Is there no store management to help the employees and customers resolve this issue? 3) Again, after waiting at curbside for 10 minutes, I went inside to the pick up desk where one customer was waiting. After another 5 minutes, I asked about curbside, the individual pointed to a lady who was pushing a large cart of material. I had watched this same lady load this trailer with material the entire time I was parked outside. She was running full speed. The individual at the pickup desk reluctantly got my curbside order for me. 25 minutes to pickup two bags of salt. Once again, is there no store management to help the employees and customers resolve this issue? In each case, these issues could have been prevented with minimal management intervention. Obviously this is not a one time event, but a recurring theme.
