- DDDebra4 days ago1.0BEWARE OF LOWES CONTRACTORS who deliver and install your appliances. I purchased a bigger refrigerator with ice maker. LOWES delivered and hooked up the refrigerator and left. A few days later I go into my basement and there’s water leaking …. LOWES hooked up the new frig. w/ice maker into wall with the old frig water hose (I purchased a new hose that was not used). Contacted Lowes and got pushed into a battle with their 3rd party contractor who claims they didn’t hook it up. Well LOWES you are responsible for the idiot contractors you hired to do a professional job. BEWARE OF LOWES CONTRACTORS and LOWES BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. I HATE LOWES!

- LJLamont JacksonFeb 4, 20261.0Buyers beware do not buy an extended warranty purchase through Lowe's. I purchased a five-year warranty on a set of Electrolux washer and dryer. It's a third-party company they use. I was scheduled an appointment 12 to 5 on the day of the appointment. They rescheduled me at the last minute with no remorse whatsoever. They did not take a consideration. I took a day off of work made plans and totally screwed up my day. I went into the store to speak to management. Management was very respectful, but not helpful. Said it was nothing that they could do at the moment. I spent $250 on this warranty just to be told at the last minute that I would have to reschedule. Again, do not purchase a warranty through these guys. It's a total waste of money.. In this economy, where money is tight right now they need to take into consideration of people finances.
- JCJoshua CadoretJan 4, 20262.0I would avoid Lowe’s (especially this Lowe’s) for carpet installation. I was given a lot of incorrect information by Lowe’s employees. When added to the low quality of work from their installation contractor (Lowe’s Pro) “Hunter’s Flooring” who won’t come back and redo their work, I ended up with a big headache. Lowe’s (corporate) was going to refund me some of my money but wanted me to sign an agreement that I would lose my warranty and that I would agree not disparage against Lowe’s. I declined to sign. Please reconsider getting carpet and other floorings through Lowe’s. I will continue to visit Lowe’s for other needs (as needed).

I planned on Christmas shopping here spending a few hundred dollars on my Lowe’s card! Honestly rethinking if even having a Lowe’s card is worth it anymore.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
