We ordered cabinets that were supposed to be delivered by truck ($85) and placed in our garage as per the salesman in Lewes De. (Coastal HWY) we were shocked when a mini van appeared with a young woman inside who COULD NOT PICK UP the cabinets. So my 67 year old husband who has a heart condition went out to help her pull out and carry the boxes into the garage. In fact there was no way she could have gotten the cabinets out of the van unless someone in my house helped her. So why was there a delivery fee? Why was my order transferred from a two man job to a 1 person drive up who unable to lift. This type of behavior and business appears to be the norm lately with Lowes. And their representatives are super simple, lacking the customer service skills necessary to bridge store to client relationships. I would not recommend this store if you can find an alternative.

Just want to give a shout out to Matt and Dee at Loews for great service today. I had a question about a plumbing project I wanted info about. I had no experience in this area but Matt assured me I could complete it myself( dual shower head with hose attachment) and I just did it as he so graciously instructed me. He interrupted a conversation with coworkers to help me after I excused myself. Matt could not have been more kind or professional. Dee was great at check out! Thanks for a terrific shopping experience today and other occasions as well. We have shifted our business from a nearby competitor for this type of customer service. Great work!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
