I should've driven a little further to the hardware store (where I had to go anyways). The man said it wasn't even the same key. I put the original key in the slot all the way, the machine locked it, I made my key selection and the key was made. The teeth looked fine but it was the way the end of the key was that was the wrong type. Since it's a vending machine in Walmart, no way to get my $5.00 back. Live and learn. Only had to pay $2.65 at the hardware store.
