This evening, Christmas Eve at 4 PM I went to Lowe’s on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut for an emergency piece of plywood that also needed to be cut. We first encountered Nikki at Customer Service front desk. She could not be more wonderful or accommodating. When we asked if someone was available to cut wood, she personally took us to the saw and located José, who was available and trained to cut the wood for us. Nikki stayed with us until she knew Jose was set up to do the job. She even helped us carry the plywood to the saw. We could not be more grateful and thankful for the assistance of both of these wonderful employees. Especially on a holiday eve when you’re getting ready to close. This has the worst customer service. I am disabled and not one of the 5 carts were charged. The store manager was unable to help. Called customer service and was. Just transfer around as no one seemed to want to help.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
