- MMMarcJan 5, 20262.0Lisbon Lowe's has been one of my favorite places to shop for years ....... until recently. The new self-checkout station in the center of the store would have been better designed by two 8 year olds than whosever brainstorm this was. Barely wide enough to fit two carriages across, and only 4 stations total, it's positioned only a few feet from the aisle behind it. There's no longer room for customers to walk through the main front concourse, and customers don't know where to stand in line, because there's no room to form a line. There was a line of people coming from the Pro-desk side, people waiting from the customer service/returns side, and a lady standing in the row in front of the self-checkout entrance. Eight people and it was a complete gridlock. No one could figure out whose turn it was next, and there certainly wasn't room for any shoppers to walk through. Billion dollar company and this was the best they could do? Wildly unacceptable.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
