Been going to Lowe’s in Cromwell for years and never had a complaint, but the last couple times I have been approached by solar sales people posing as Lowe’s employees. What a horrible practice to have pushy sales people wandering inside the store. I’ve actually been approached twice on the same visit. Why can’t they be at a table near a door rather then stalking your customers?

Everyone else at Lowe’s has been so helpful always asking if I need help. But I’ve literally NEVER complained about any company before. The thing I cannot stand is one worker trying to sell me solar panels and not giving up at it. It makes me not want to return and go somewhere else. I feel extremely uncomfortable and almost scared to return. I see someone else complained about this too and the owner gave generic “please reach out to this number” I already have. Please actually do something. P.s If you hear a man whistling at this location with a fuzzy hat and long coat…. Run… it’s the solar panel guy…

I visit this Lowe’s pretty often and have never had an issue..
But I witnessed The worst customer service experience ever… An old couple couldn’t figure out how to use the self check out And the Worker who has a 10 year badge, but yet her name covered was sitting there berating them trying to give them instructions instead of just helping them and show them… This is probably why robots are gonna take over one day… A robot would’ve had more compassion than she did.

When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
