  Great facility, clean and very secure. Christian was so helpful and pleasant to work with. Very professional. I'm glad we made the time to visit the facility and see the different size units available.

  I have been a customer of Extra Space Storage for many years. First in California, followed by New Hampshire, and now in Brookfield, CT at a brand new facility at 23 Gray's Bridge Road. When they designed this new facility they obviously took into account feedback from some of their other facilities. Not only is this new facility spotless, there are several things that stand out. When you pull in to unload there's a roof over your head so that it protects you from the weather. There are plenty of carts and the elevators are clean, spacious, and quick. When you actually get to your floor, it is wide enough to maneuver your cart. Also there are no doors that open into the hall to intrude your access. The units have retractable garage type doors which give you total access to the full width of your storage space. This access also allows the brightly lit hallways to fully illuminate your space as well. No need for a flashlight. The temperature is regulated to be very comfortable when you are in the facility and also set to protect your belongings during the excessive heat and cold seasons. Another important perk is access to a bathroom which is clean and comfortable. With respect to security, the retracting doors have the latest disc cylinder locks. They are flush mounted and sit inside the door latch, so nothing sticks out. Unlike a padlock, there’s nothing to cut with bolt cutters. There are also numerous security cameras that are monitored in the office. The only thing I can think of that would be nice to change is better access to cellular service, but management is aware of the problem and I believe they're trying to work on a solution. Speaking of managers, Sean and Christina are absolutely delightful. The first time I met them they could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable about what they have to offer, and are very good at helping you find the best solution for your needs. They both genuinely care about taking care of your possessions in the most secure and efficient way. That is very comforting. This is a first right storage facility. You won't be disappointed.
