  Once again the team from United Alarm (now Pye/Barker) came through. Shane has taken his lessons well from Bob Rossman and led a very clean proposal through installation process. Chip and Chris installed the specified equipment, got it up and working efficiently, explained it and continued the United Alarm excellent service.

  I have been extremely displeased with the customer service lately, About two weeks ago, I called with an issue that I needed help resolving. I was told to change a battery on one of the pads near my kitchen window. After doing so, the error was not resolved. I was told I was not putting the cover on correctly. After FIVE calls to request help, a technician was scheduled to come out. In the meantime, I had no service, meaning I was experiencing several safety hazards. I was told the tech would be to my house around 2pm on Wednesday, Oct. 16. I left work early to be there when he arrived, and waited until 4:30 before calling to see if he was still coming. I was told that he was. At 5:00, I received a call from Joe stating that the technician was no longer coming and asking if I would like to reschedule. I said no, as I was extremely frustrated at this point. I left my house at 5:15pm and then received a call telling me that the technician was there, which I'm still not understanding, since the appointment was cancelled by Joe. The series of phone calls I have received in the past 12 hours trying to amend this situation WEEKS after I first sought help with it is abundant. ONLY after I expressed interest in terminating my service was there any sense of urgency in dealing with my situation. Is that how this business is run? The safety of my family comes second to the monetary value of me as a customer? That's disgraceful. I was told the company would "hate to lose me as a customer." Well, my advice is to show your customers that you care about them before it comes to this.
