In the first order we ordered stationary recliners and received rocking recliners. And in most recent order we ordered the Jay reclining sofa and loveseat. We chose the remote control electric controls. Only our couch came with the remote controls, the loveseat was finger control. I asked at the time if our purchase why the two things didn’t match the description and I was told they are both remote controlled and and not to worry. Wrong. Very disappointing. I was told they could reorder them but it would take another 6-8 weeks. Apparently the sales person was a manager. Bummer.

The only problem is it just doesn’t feel like the chair I set in in the showroom iit feels higher and I opted for the better foam padding, but it’s really hard. Maybe it’ll feel better after it’s broken in more but as of now I’m regretting my purchase

She explained the differences between an electronic chair and the manual pull-arm version. I purchased 2 well-made and much-loved sofas in the 1980s and early 1990s. Their construction and quality of the fabrics was notably superior to what La-Z-Boy is offering today. That was disappointing. We did choose leather. The leather was good quality, but is only on the most-used parts of the lounger; the rest is only vinyl.
