    Well I like Lowe’s. But better to buy in person. I have ordered numerous large itself for delivery, and each and every time, eg. two tractor mowers and a freezer, and they came damaged. And it’s a pain in the neck to keep returning delivered items.

    About A year ago, I had a miserable customer service experience with the former manager at the store regarding a leaf blower. I literally stopped going to the Lowe’s started going to Home Depot after having a bit a customer there since opening. When I found out there were new managers, I decided to give it another try about seven months back and there’s been no regrets. it is evident that the former manager listened to the employees as to how to run a store while this manager takes care of the details. The store is clean, the aisles are clear, it is simple to find items, employees are friendly, and the experience is noticeable… The captain of the ship is doing an admirable job as are his employees

    We had an outstanding experience with Joshua at the Bloomfield, CT store. We reached Joshua on our 7th call that day. We had a contractor at our home, installing a garage door opener. He advised us that we needed an extender for our 8ft door. We had difficulty reaching someone who could help us. When Joshua answered our call, he advised us that he was in the Home and Garden section, but he could absolutely help us with what we needed. Instead of simply transfering our call to a different department, he took the time to walk to the dept we needed, and to review with us the items that they had in stock. He located the garage door extender that we needed, and then took the time to process my order and payment. Joshua then went above and beyond yet again, and met our contractor at the pick-up desk, and completed the transaction. Joshua was kind, professional, patient, kind, and went above and beyond. We cannot thank him enough for facilitating our purchase, as it enabled our contractor to complete the job on the same day. We appreciate you Joshua!!

    Purchased 6 Pella windows at the Bloomfield store and 4 at the Manchester. They were boxed and wrapped when picked up and it wasn’t until my contractor went to install them that he noticed serious issues on 2 of the screens and issues with 2 others. After literally spending hours trying to get Lowe’s and then Pella then Lowe’s again to replace the screens, I receive a quote for new screens from Lowe’s. It’s the principle of the matter now - not interested in paying more for screens that were imperfect when picked up. Buyer beware here.
