- NHNathan Drashner - HCPF6 days ago1.0Went in to look for a sliding glass door part and look at flooring. Didn't get the part i needed but was told i should just buy a whole new slider. Guy proceeded to follow me from the sliding glass door section to the flooring section and try and tell us what product we wanted rather then answer questions. Continually tried to pressure the sale because of "discounted installation" even though I'd told him that I was going to have someone else do the installation multiple times. I tried to call the store to speak to a manager to speak about this interaction and they bounced me around their phone tree and put me on hold for 10 mins before i gave up and just decided to leave this review. Interestingly I found the part i needed for the slider at home depot where the flooring selection was much better as well. Probably do the purchase there due to this.

I got here at 9:52 PM because my wifes having our kiddo in the following week, and I was trying to get some tedious to do’s finished beforehand. I understand no employee wants a customer to walk in eight minutes before close. But, the moment I entered the doors Ben, read my urgency and the first thing he said was “it’s OK you have about 10 minutes.” I simply asked him where are the masks and trash bags were, he said aisle 15 and 27. Then, without hesitation, he stopped what he was doing and walked me over to each aisle. He found out I was looking for a full face mask not a mouth mask, instead of my original vague ask, and we went to a different aisle, (Big help that he attended my needs with me). Then helped me find the heavy trash bags. All the while conversing about life and relation. Thanks Ben, thanks Lowe’s. Keep up the crushing customer service, it’s few and far between these days. I don’t always write reviews like this.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
