- AMAmy McKenney6 days ago1.0Ordered a fridge for delivery from a very nice man who worked in the paint department(I guess there were no appliances folks around). I Took the day off to stay home and receive said fridge. Got a text that they were on their way and yes, they did show up and hand me the install kit- you know the little hose that connects the ice maker. I asked where the fridge was. They said they didn’t know they were only given the little hose and didn’t have an order for a fridge then he asked me to make sure to give him a good review because a poor review would reflect badly on him. Oookaaayy. A few phone calls later and I’m left to assume the fridge never made it on a truck. Because after 5 phone calls to various people- all promising to call me back after they investigated, which none ever called me back- I’m sitting at home watching the sun go down on my old fridge sitting in the hallway next to a cooler of food. So, I’m not happy at the moment and no idea where my fridge is or when it’s coming because everyone I talk to seems burdened, tired or like they just don’t give a rip. Funny side story- I called Home Depot by mistake and talked to a very helpful, attentive guy in their appliance department. I felt like an idiot but he sure made Lowe’s look even worse with his chipper can-do attitude. Should’ve gone to the depot.
