    Overall our experience was good, the storage unit was clean and easy to access. However, we were told from day one and as recent as 1 month ago when we knew we’d be vacating that there would be a prorating of our monthly fee. We vacated a full 2 weeks ahead of the next scheduled payment and then we were told “ no, we don’t prorate”. So if they end up renting the unit ( which we suspect they will, since they are at full capacity according to them) then in essence that is double dipping.

    Nice facility but not taken care of. Door handle on the door I entered does not work very well. Sometimes you get in sometimes you don't. One rainy night I had to walk to another door and was soaking wet by the time I got there. Exit gate doesn't work very well either. I just moved everything out, it doesn't make sense to pay that much when they won't fix anything. Actually it doesn't make sense to pay that much even if everything does work.

    Anne was such a joy to encounter! She was so sweet and helpful to my wife, and complimented my perfume choice my wife was wearing. More importantly, she went above and beyond to assist us and ensure the access to clean out our auction unit was more manageable, even with inoperable glass doors! Thank you so much for your mindfulness & friendliness! It didn't go unnoticed!

    The manager here (kicking myself completely because I think her name is Anne but don't want to get it wrong) is the greatest!! She was so very nice, welcoming, friendly, and helpful! I won an auction unit here, and my experience interacting with her is what will definitely make me a return customer! She keeps everything, including the bathroom facilities, clean & tidy, and her bright positive attitude makes cleaning even the dirtiest auction unit out all worth it!

    Customer service nightmare! I was a customer for five or take 5 years with no issues, to make a long story short i hired a moving company and when we went to move my stuff out on a Sunday the elevator stopped working with my belongings in it, nobody answered the phone locally and it just kicked it to a call center where a very rude employee basically said I’d have to wait until they opened the next day and that was that. I tried calling multiple times to get another person, asking for management, I even tried calling the non emergency line to ask if the fire department could come out and they tried calling the district manager but nobody from Extraspace could be reached. Problem is I HAD to load my truck and get on the road to be in Texas for a new job starting soon so I had to leave my stuff behind. There was a lot of moving parts for sure but a couple things.. I was NOT the only one moving out on that Sunday there place was very busy and nobody to contact in case of any sort of emergency, secondly I had to give notice of my intention to move out so they knew I’d be there. Fast forward I talk to Kevin, the manager, and he tells me I have to come pick up my stuff and I told him THEIR elevator shut down on me and I had to go so what was their plan to get me my stuff? Cutting through a lot of detail Kevin decides they’ll put my stuff back in my unit and figure out a plan asap… a week passes there’s no update, Kevin was rude to my mother who was trying to help me communicate while working my new job. After lack of communication and updates I ask them what’s going on and now Kevin tells me my things were stolen!! There’s a keypad to get in the gate, another keypad to get in the doors, cameras covering every square inch, and it’s a maze but somehow someone came in and stole my things that filled up an elevator. & what did they offer me? Whoops, you’ll have to take it up with insurance with a detailed list and valuation and hey we won’t charge you last months rent. It’s a storage unit so it’s really difficult to fudge up customer service when it’s such a small interaction and I understand the circumstances were difficult but Kevin and management do not care how long you’ve been a customer they don’t want to be hassled and even though weekend days would possibly logistically be when most people have time to move they cannot be reached. I can’t believe I’m leaving this bad of a review on a storage unit but when the rent increases at every opportunity, your things get stolen and all they do is throw their hands up I think it should be considered in your decision that 1. Maybe it’s not such a safe facility if it’s that easy to steal stuff from and 2. If something does go wrong they do NOT care.
