  I had an excellent experience with Aptive Pest Control. Todays visiting person was extremely professional, thorough, and attentive to every detail. He took the time to carefully listen to all of my concerns and made sure each one was properly addressed during the service. What really stood out was his attention to detail and communication. He documented the work clearly, added photos, and provided detailed descriptions of everything that was done, which gave me great confidence in the quality of their service. Overall, the experience was smooth, professional, and exceeded my expectations.

  This company is a HUGE SCAM. The salesperson was pushy, told me I could cancel at any time, which was not true. I could not find scheduling that worked for when I would be home, and when I cancelled, I had to pay for a service that was not completed and also $200 for not fulfilling a 2-year contract. None of this was explained in person by the salesperson. RUN from this company.

  Lorenzo did a great job for us! He reached out to let us know what time he would arrive. Then he asked if we had any pressing concerns or needed any extra attention to any area in the house. He treated every area and addressed the concerns that I had. Took photos of everything and did an excellent job of treating our house for bugs. Lorenzo is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definitely want him to come out again. 10 out of 10 for Lorenzo.!

  My husband signed up for this service a couple years ago. I thought it was a little pricey, but he was convinced by the salesman that it would be wonderful. We have not had many pest problems and the ones we had were always taken care of. The last service we had a different technician, I think his name was Donald. He was a nice guy, but kept trying to sell me a higher plan, which was irritating. After he left, I was thinking about going back to our old company, that cost a little less, and they didn't pressure us to upgrade. But I forgot to do it. Today we had a service, and the technician that came was the one we've had before, Brandon. We had a new issue and had him check on an old one. He was so good! He listened to us, then thoroughly checked, and then treated everything. He was so nice, personable and knowledgeable. I would give him 5+ stars. And now I'm thinking the reason we didn't have many issues before was probably because he does a good job. Needless to say, I will keep using Aptive because of him. I just need to remember to ask them to send him each time instead of the previous tech. (the last tech was the reason for the 4 star review)

  In September, an Aptive rep came door-to-door and sold me on one single treatment with immediate cancellation. I paid what I understood was a one-time fee. Then Aptive scheduled/attempted another visit the following month with about 30 minutes notice, which I never agreed to. Since then, I’ve been trying to cancel for over 30 days. To make it worse, their “customer service” email doesn’t even receive emails. When I finally reached customer service by phone to cancel, I was told I was actually enrolled in a “Pro plan” for $120/month — something I did not knowingly sign up for. The service technician then tried to “discount” it to $80 (what I paid the first time), and when I again said cancel, he told me there’s a $199 cancellation fee and that he would be invoicing me. This whole experience has been exhausting and feels intentionally designed to trap customers into recurring billing and fees they never agreed to. Terrible customer service, misleading sales tactics, and aggressive cancellation practices. I do not recommend Aptive to anyone.
