My Wife and family were shopping the other night. Our Autistic son began to act out and throw a fit. I decided to escort him out of the store so that my wife and daughter can continue to shop. Once I got to the car for him to calm down, a cop showed up informing me that the Manager of Hobby Lobby called them about child abuse. The cop stated that there was no child abuse and it was a false call. Next time my child acts up in this store I will let him continue. Very Bad Management Staff for a Christian store.

I get that shoplifting is a big issue in this town and in general in the retail industry, but when I'm trying to decide on what color acrylic (they have hundreds of colors and sheens) will go nicely with what I already have at home for a new project and I hear "Code one, aisle 5".... And Im the only soul on aisle 5... And a quick ask and Google search indicates that is the most common code used and usually for loss prevention... And then a round angry woman in a blue vest spawns out of the shadows and gets in my personal space and begins to inspect, taste test and alphabetize the paint I'm looking at... I politely let her know that they should profile more discreetly and she was making me uncomfortable. She snapped "You're paranoid!" I regret it now but I grabbed a can of clear coat, paid for it and left with no paint . The cashier is one I see often and always a nice guy he actually seemed embarrassed and apologized to me for the troll guardian of the paint and her attitude. Pretty wild they operate like this when Michaels is a 1/4 mile away and has friendly, helpful employees. Just a drop in your bucket but I'll never spend a dime in a hobby lobby again, just an overall unpleasant experience.

I like the store, They have kind of a misleading business practice. Everything is always 40 to 50% off. Obviously, this is just a trick to get you to buy stuff thinking it’s on sale, but if it’s on sale year around then it’s not really a sale. Honestly that’s not my biggest gripe. My only real issue with this place that they still don’t take tap to pay. A small inconvenience yes but get with the times y’all And I would consider changing to five star stars.

My daughter had an emergency yesterday. So I went to the Greeley, CO Hobby Lobby store first thing this AM 10/2/2025. I spent over an hour finding the perfect encouraging, loving couple items I could. They meant a lot and one was a more fragile framed box with a Bible verse. The lady at checkout offered no bag, she put not EVEN ONE piece of tissue over the frame. Just took my payment and looked at me. I said “could you please wrap some tissue around this?”. She begrudgingly took ONE piece of tissue and layed it around the framed verse. Loose, no tape, like ZERO protection. I Pick the framed verse up and the other two items I had bought and the tissue just flopped loose and came off, and I looked back at her, and I said “I thought you might wrap some tissue around this as it is fragile and going to be in the car just loose”. And she looked at me and just laughed. So much for a Christian based retail store and being a Loving and kind representative. I never leave reviews. And I don’t complain at all like ever. This woman really put a damper on my spirit and she was very unprofessional and very uncaring. I will not return to this store ever.
