- CRChristopher Richards3 days ago5.0Great experience both onsite, and over the phone. Site manager (Michael I think?) has been present, which is not the case with some other facilities where their offices are often unmanned. He's also been consistently personable and accommodating. The Extra Space facility I looked at is new, clean and secure. The surrounding community is also new and appears to be somewhat affluent, which eases concerns about break-in attempts. It has inside units and outside drive-up units, with some of the outside drive-up's offering climate control, which isn't found at most other storage facilities. There is a bathroom available even if the office is closed. Nice to have if you're there loading items after normal office hours. It's not publicly accessible, only available for those who have the gate code, thus not a safety/security/sanitation concern. The only things I wish were different: 1: I wanted to commit to, or even pay in advance for, a full year up-front, so I don't have to be concerned about rate increases for that long. They will only lock in a rate for 6 months. 2: There aren't any drive-up units with extra high rollup doors, so if you have a tall vehicle such as a high roof Sprinter van, you wouldn't be able to store it inside at this facility. A typical SUV would clear their doors, just not something extra high.
