- EBEmily Brenengen5 days ago1.0Joe was extremely nice and helpful in framing, however I won't be back due to the unprofessional work environment. I called to see if they could cut my artwork for me for frames I already had and was told yes. I showed up and was told that wasn't the policy but Joe went the extra mile to help me mark out the cuts before he trimmed my artwork anyway. He did a wonderful job and this poor review is not a reflection of his part in this. This review is for Hobby Lobby managers and the way other staff members handled this situation when they didn't know I was standing by the counter waiting to pick up my art. I overhead another staff member getting upset that he helped me. He speculated that I lied and made up the phone call to get my artwork cut and that the store wasn't going to make any money from this. I drove 20 minutes to get there and left feeling sad and misunderstood by the things said about me. Very unprofessional. I hope in the future when concerns arise about policy, employees who put their customer first are met with kindness and understanding, not judgement and anger from whoever is in charge. The customer is not always right, but kindness is.
