Hector, Miguel and Luis, the technicians from The Natural Way, were prompt, courteous and really did a great job trimming a large Honey Locust and Pine in our yard. I was extremely happy with the way they carefully trimmed the tree, how quiet they were when doing it and how well they cleaned up after. I expected a half a day of loud chainsawing and chipping and it was not terrible at all. I would definitely recommend!

I had a very lengthy review at one time but I do not have the time or energy anymore to write it out, I think that is what they were hoping for. Let’s just say if honesty and integrity are important to you, especially when it comes to spending a substantial amount of money, then this is not your place. Read, read, read everything, do not trust that they will make it right. They won’t! Shantelle, is the absolute rudest human being I have ever dealt with. There are plenty of other companies that may be a little more money but it may be worth it in the long run.

Came onsite to evaluate trees I wanted removed, provided timely quote with reasonable pricing, and sent crew to perform work based on needed schedule. Hector (lead on the job) and Moses did work in timely manner, were professional, and cleaned up nicely. They provided quality work. This is the second time they have performed work for me and I will go back to them in the future if needed. Recommend this business and would ask for Hector and Moses.

The pruned back our trees as there were overgrown. Hector and his team were courteous and professional and has a passion for what they did. The trees look much better.

Great to work with this company. They've taken care of my property for several years and I have been very pleased with their work.
The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive beetle originating from Asia that poses a severe threat to ash trees in North America. This insect specifically targets and can be fatal to untreated ash trees. EAB was first detected in Boulder in September 2013. We encourage property owners with ash trees to contact us for a tree assessment and to discuss potential protective measures against these destructive insects.
What trees are affected?
All species of ash trees are susceptible to Emerald Ash Borer infestation. It's important to note that Mountain Ash, despite its name, is not a true ash species and is therefore not affected by EAB.
Should all Ash trees be treated?
We currently recommend an annual application of systemic insecticide for all high-value ash trees to protect against initial EAB attacks. The effectiveness of treatments may vary depending on factors such as tree size, proximity to known EAB activity, tree location, overall tree health, soil moisture conditions, and the intensity of insect populations.
When should I start treating my tree?
Ash trees require annual treatment throughout their lifespan for protection against EAB. Property owners need to decide whether to treat their trees or opt for removal and replacement. If you choose to treat your trees, please contact us promptly to schedule the service, as timing is crucial for effective control. Our arborists are available to discuss treatment options, timing, costs, and any other concerns you may have.
If my tree is already treated for an ash borer, will I be protected against EAB?
The treatment you may currently have for Lilac-Ash Borers is different from what's required for Emerald Ash Borer protection. EAB necessitates a distinct treatment approach, although some treatments for larger trees can address both issues simultaneously.
Is there anything else I can do to help my Ash trees survive?
Trees in good health typically respond more favorably to EAB treatment programs. We strongly advise implementing an annual nutrient program for your ash trees to support their overall health. This program is designed to enhance metabolic function, root health, and root vigor, rather than promote rapid growth. Additionally, we recommend supplemental watering during winter months and summer heat. Our hydration program incorporates wetting agents and natural extracts to improve water absorption and retention in the soil. For pricing information on our nutrient program, please contact us.
How much will it cost?
The cost for EAB treatment is determined by the tree's diameter and the specific treatment options chosen. We offer complimentary, no-obligation estimates and would be pleased to discuss the various treatment options available for your ash trees.
What is the Emerald Ash Borer and how does it affect ash trees?
The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive beetle from Asia that threatens North American ash trees by targeting and potentially killing untreated ash trees. EAB was first detected in Boulder in 2013. Property owners with ash trees should consider assessments and protective measures.
Which types of trees are susceptible to Emerald Ash Borer infestation?
All true ash tree species are affected by EAB. Mountain Ash is not a true ash and is not susceptible to this pest.
Should I treat all my ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer?
Annual systemic insecticide treatment is recommended for all high-value ash trees to protect against EAB. Treatment effectiveness depends on tree size, location, health, and insect population levels.
When should ash tree treatment for EAB begin and how is it maintained?
Ash trees should receive annual treatment throughout their lifespan for EAB protection. Contact us promptly to schedule treatment and discuss options, timing, and costs.
Will treatments for Lilac-Ash Borer protect my trees against Emerald Ash Borer?
No, EAB requires a different treatment than Lilac-Ash Borer, although treatments for larger trees may address both simultaneously.
What additional steps can help my ash trees survive Emerald Ash Borer infestation?
Implement an annual nutrient program to maintain tree health, and provide supplemental watering during winter and summer. Our hydration program uses agents to improve soil water absorption and retention.
