  If I could give .5 stars I would, I called to speak with a manager in regards to some questions about the furniture. The first person to answer the phone did not know what he was talking about, got directed to another person and they didn’t have any knowledge as well. Finally I got on the phone with the Manager and they were very rude and short, and rushed me to get off the phone. Will not be shopping at this place.

  I would post 0 stars if I could. Over the past few years our experiences have gone from bad to worse with this company at this location. The couch we purchased has not held up well at all. We purchased a glass outdoor table thats literally EXPLODED into thousands of pieces - it was kept under a shaded area, not a hot day and an outdoor piece. When this happened we decided to get new patio furniture - we spent $3,600 yes THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED on an Ashley patio and outdoor dining set. We received this in late September of 2024 (it was supposed to be one delivery on a specific date however not everything was delivered and a date was pushed out past the time of a party we were hosting so we chose to pick up some of the items, during this time they tried to CHARGE ME for picking up the items myself?! when I had already paid a hefty delivery fee) - this was outdoors for approximately 1.5 months and then stored in a basement for the winter until late spring this year, as we went to put it away a few weeks ago we were upset by how weathered the pieces are. All of the protective coating is coming off, it's splintered and looks awful. I call customer service where they say they will come check it out then CANCEL TWO TIMES on me. They finally call back today and says best we can do is use the pictures you submitted to give you a quote for you to have it fixed aka for me to pay more money on this garbage. The man on the phone further said that the one year warranty does not even cover weather damage.....for a patio set!!!! make that make sense!! Very long story short - this place sells exceptionally poor quality goods that have basically zero warranty and we will never purchase anything from here again.

  We were shopping for sectionals and found one we really liked at the AFW in Englewood. We had questions about the sectional and as I was trying to scan a tag a sales associate came and asked if we needed some help. When I said we had some questions about the sectional, like how many they had in stock and if the clearance price was for the floor sample. The sales associate looked up the information and said "is that it for you?" as if we said we wanted to buy the secional. I said we are not buying it today we have some questions, the sales associated looked sternly at us and said "ok you folks take your time," and walked away! He did not ask what quesitons we had or let us know if they had the couch in stock. We stood there in disbelief! We looked at each other trying to figure out what just happened and left deciding we would not be treated like this and certainly would not provide our business here. As we were leaving down the escalator the sales associate came from towards the back of the store and seemed to follow us. He went down the escalator behind us and didn't say a word. My husband and I went to the restroom and when we came out the sales assciate was there and didn't say a word again, he simply seemed to follow us as we walked out. We were in disbelief! The unfortunate thing is we really liked the sectional and would have purchased it, but due to this horrible treatment, we went else and even paid more for a sectional simply because of the outstanding customer service at the other furniture store. I have lived in the Denver metro area for 33 years and have made multiple AFW purchases and never had such an awful experience. I have told several people about our experience and they are in disbelief at how we were treated. I will likely never step foot in another AFW again.

  In August 2024, we purchased two couches from American, manufactured by Asley. By way of background, we have been customers for 30+ years and in general, have been satisfied. It's where we purchased furniture. We have spent many thousands of dollars as customers of American. Now, one of these couches we use daily while the other is mainly for company. A few months ago, I noticed one of them appeared to be sagging on the ends. I called them. Since it was slightly more than a year and I learned that their warranty was passed and the manufacturer, Ashley, has no applicable guaranty either. They quoted around $500 to fix this piece of junk. I asked about a discount if we elected to junk it and buy another. They have no intention of helping us at all. They aren't even embarrassed or apologetic! It’s very disappointing to find out after so many years of being loyal customers, they have no interest in helping us. I even had to pay $49 to have the guy look at it for 10 minutes. Clearly, the quality of their products is not good. Cheap stuff is sold at high prices to anyone who is not a furniture expert. We are done and I encourage you to find a company with better products, customer appreciation, and integrity. Greed is not pretty

  We went in to buy mattress and ended up purchasing a great one. We also figured we would take a look at possibly buying a new living room sectional couch and we fell in love with one that we ended up purchasing as well! Upon entering the store we were met with the nice door greeters and then happened to run into Bruce who has got to be the BEST sales guy we've ever interacted with at a furniture store! Not pushy, not trying to upsell anything we don't want or need, he's just came off as incredibly helpful and very informative as to product knowledge and what would work for us. We will definitely be back to that store to work with him if and when we need more furniture! The offerings and products are fantastic. After having terrible experiences with purchasing products on Amazon, etc, AFW has since been the gold standard in quality to price when it comes to all things furniture. It's also comforting to know that the money is going to a great operation headed by Jake who is a stand up guy as evidenced by his community philanthropy. Lastly, the checkout and delivery process was as smooth as possible with good communication about pickup for the mattress as well as the delivery of the couch to our home. A special shout out to Bryce and Chris in delivery who were on time, courteous, efficient and very mindful to not damage our home. Two more great employees at this establishment! In summary we just couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience at American Furniture Warehouse. Highly recommended!!
