Castle Cleaning Co. started in 1969; we have been in Berthoud , Colo. since 1980. Phil Auserehl is the inventor of the Auserehlian Cleaning System....oriental rug washing using compressed-air and submersion washing. Castle is the oldest and largest oriental rug sales and service company in Northern Colorado.
Phil started his business in 1969 and has collected a huge selection, of one of a kind, hand-made rugs from around the world.

I didn’t know what made the most sense for the type of rug I have and the gentleman I talked to was very helpful and shared some good information with me. I actually live in Berthoud and have wanted to pop into this shop but haven’t had the opportunity. I’m looking forward to checking it out soon.
- KFK FFeb 9, 20185.0Simply put there is no other and I mean none, zero, zilch of a place you can go in Colorado to either find the best selection of Oriental (Persian) rugs in all of Colorado, hell in probably west of the rockies. Not to mention the owner Phil personally developed and patented the best method of cleaning these expensive heirlooms and has taught this method to folks around the world. You could gamble with the $10,000 rug or take it to Phil and have peace of mind. There is none better.
