  Guys, the location changed. It is on the other side of the mall facing the freeway. It is like 3 times bigger. Or it just feels like it.

  Garbage Lobby. Went here to buy some webbing belt. There was no one at the cut table and a woman who was standing there way before me didn't even know if there was anyone even manning the table. So I went to the front register and told them no one was manning the cut table and I also told them that I just want to buy the whole spool. Now since Hobby Lobby management is so incompetent and refuses to use modern SKU systems, scanners, and databases, the cashiers have no clue how much a piece of fabric costs. Even the Manager was of no help. They decided to call the fabric person on the PA but both the cashier and the Manager look obviously annoyed that a customer (me) was asking them something that was having to make them do their job. I got no acknowledgement from them, they didn't even say "Just one moment lemme get the specialist for you," NOTHING. And I just end up standing there with this awkward silence. It didn't take long as I just left. This is what happens when you employ incompetent workers and don't have a modern system for scanning and searching up SKUs in your inventory. You lost a customer Hobby Lobby.

  The lost star isn't about anything wrong with this location or it's staff; they're great. My only actual complaint about the store itself is that (perhaps because they recently moved to the spot on the other side of Eastland Mall), the organization is still a hair tricky to understand. The dropped star is for corporate's practices in foisting Christianity on employees and pushing Christian political agendas. I am a Christian (which is a part of why I still shop at Hobby Lobby, because they have the Christian merch), I just don't believe in forcing my beliefs or practices on others. That said, the selection of merch is excellent, the store itself pleasant, the employees friendly, and the new location more spacious than the last one. For supplies for the crafting I actually do,, it's legitimately difficult to find a better brick and mortar store nearby. If you sew and thought this is the only option, try Sew n Sew in Glendora and keep small business open.
