They were waiting for me at the door and walked me over there and all the other isles I needed stuff. They seem to have lots of staff on hand. Their shelves are always packed to the edge too. Much better than the anti DEI shop down the street.

They was an older guy sitting at a desk ( I assumed he was working on commisison selling cabinets, etc ) I asked him several questions and he didnt seem all that enthusiastic about helping me. I had a particular question about a model on the floor; the counter top material. etc he didnt even get up off his seat and walk 20 feet over to me. I just said we dont sell that type of countertop anymore, and then continued to look down at whatever it was he was reading. He didnt do a follow up and show me alteratives or suggest is opinon on a similar countertop, etc I get it, its a big box store and not a custom cabinet store. He had a customer in front of him that was looking to make a purchase, he could have atleast engaged in conversation and showed me he gave a damn wether he made a commision or not that day? Will i continue to shop there, I have no choice all the small businesses are closed due to the 2 giant box stores. Will I buy kitchen cabinets from Lowes? ...its very unlikely!

The last few years though I’ve frequented Lowes more & I gotta say they put up a close fight with the behemoth for overall supplies & service! Unfortunately, this time the “service” I received was lightweight disturbing…. So I was looking for an item & an employee asked to help me I replied with the item I was looking for. He led me there, I thanked him I grabbed the item & began looking at other products in the same vicinity. I look over my shoulder a minute or so later & he’s standing there staring at me… then asks if I needed anything else. I told him don’t think so & began walking down the aisle. I stopped down 2 maybe 3 more isles on my way out & every isle I came to he was at either one end or the other looking directly at me! I know this bc there was no one else on these isles… His staring & overall vibe made me end my trip early & check out! Even as I was checking out I look up & he’s standing by the door watching me! This has never happened here before but regardless his vibe makes me me wanna just go to Home Depot next time I need something!!
