- SNSusan NolanMar 24, 20263.0I am a member of a senior ladies group and we love coming to the Torrance Worldmarket twice each month. One of the managers there, Ken has definitely got a handle on friendliness and customer service,.........ladies, he has the prettiest of eyes too. Anyhow, at our last meeting before we went to the store the subject of shopping carts came up which seemed to be a big deal for several of our older ladies. Apparently a decision was made to no longer have any carts available to take our items out of the store and to our vehicles. When we asked about this decision, we were told it was just a management decision and if we needed help, an employee would be available to assist us. This sounds nice but sometimes there are six of us with a lot of different items, large and small. This seems to be a poorly thought out decision. For several years we have been able to take the carts out and then return them when finished with them. This was a huge reason we picked this store and enjoyed going there. This allowed many of us to maintain our independence and stave off the inevitability of getting older. This could be a big deal breaker at our next weeks meeting. The service provided by Ken and the rest of the staff is great but I'm not sure it will be enough to compensate for the shopping cart issue. Please reinstate the cart availability to go outside so we can continue to come to your store as much as we have in the past.
