  You have a self-service Minute Key machine set up in Home Depot’s front aisle, mid-store. I copied two keys, making two each. With the optional profiling plus tax the price for each pair was $17.64. That's a hefty price for two copies. The key cutting kiosk had the look and feel of a highly accurate machine. It turns out, the keys were not very accurately cut. A local locksmith pointed this out and the inaccurate duplication of the keys was obvious with visual inspection. I brought back to Home Depot one of the two inaccurate pairs that did not work in the lock. I was expecting to get a refund. I was given a sheet with information on it to contact Minute Key or whatever refund handler it had on the sheet. Given the considerable wasted time, I was thoroughly upset. There was no reason for me to think that I was making a non-Home Depot purchase right in the middle of their store. In speaking with the helpful gentleman in Returns, I suggested to him that he move that machine out of the store. At this point I tell people not to use the Minute Key kiosk. Period.
