For the past three years I have been coming to this store and had great experiences. The team in there is fantastic and helped me many times with my pool issues.
However, today there was a young guy, who is new, and it started off by him being everything but friendly. When I asked him to please check my water he stated I needed to place the bottle in a specific location and fill out a small piece of paper with my information. I told him that I am already in the system and that I would be aware of the new procedure but given there is NO one in the store can’t he just test the water. He stated again that I needed to follow his direction if I wanted to get the water tested as this is the new policy. I told him that the new policy is only in effect IF there is more than person in the store so the staff can ensure no one is waiting too long, makes sense, I agree.
However, today there was NO one in the store, just he and I. So I said again why don’t you just test the water, there is no one in the store, I am in the system. He refused to test my water and told me unless I fill out the paper and place the bottle in the specific location he would not do it!
Thanks to the new guy Leslie Pool you just lost a customer of 3 years who spent hundreds of $ in this store over a policy this employee does not seem to understand and can’t put to work. Treating me like a 1st. Grader is not how you treat loyal customers. The tone and arguments were condescending and inappropriate at best.
KUDOS to the previous team, you guys were awesome. But unless this new gentleman is working else where, I will not return for sure!
