- PHPaula HeadyFeb 21, 20264.0After 15 years with another company, Extra Space Storage bought out the place on 345 Shaw Road, So. San Francisco, CA. I store my disabled sister's belongings and will no matter how long she is unable to live independently. Extra Space does things in a far different manner than the previous owners. Fortunately, Mike helped me out, was patient and professional and understood. I received a notice of an increase in rent (no one likes that). Previously if I paid six months to a year in advance, I would receive a free months rent. Extra Space does not permit paying more than six months at a time. Hmmm.... Mike called me personally, explained the company policy, offered to return my check right away. And he did just that. I paid six months, followed policy. He called me and told me he received payment and it would be deposited on Monday so I would receive my receipt promptly. He is very easy to speak with, a good listener and an excellent problem solver. I have confidence in him; trust and respect are important. He has earned mine. Extra Space is very fortunate to have an excellent employee taking care of their customers. Thank you Mike, much appreciated service.
