Long story but worth the read....I started my experience at Rona a week and a half ago. I have been my 81 year old fathers full time caregiver for the last year and a half and it hasn't been easy. I went here seeking a bit of direction in the store to know where to look for some items to build a deck. I do have experience but with my dad in tot I just needed a bit of help. The guy at the desk was zero help. Said he was so backed up it would be 2 weeks until he could help...I was blow away he wouldn't even point us in the right direction so i said, fine, ill just go look and do it myself. So I did. When I was in the halls I asked 2 men for some direction to what I was looking for and both stopped what they were doing to help. Jithin I believe and his partner I can't remeber his name but had long hair and a small Stache and both men, went above and beyond to help. One pointed me in the right dir3ction and the other explained what was happening to my dad. Both so kind and patient and took me back to the 90s when customer service cared about their customers and were not just an annoyance in the work day. After that l went home to order my stuff. Well, it didn't come when it was supposed to. I called and was promised it would be there the next day and no later than Saturday. Neither worked and I wasn't given many option other than to hand balm it myself 300 yards from entrance of acreage to the location of build if a courier came or eait until monday. So instead I took another option which was, reimburse me the delivery charge and give free delivery Monday first thing. Well that was ok ish until I found out first thing meant 10am to 2pm so I called in pretty irate at this point and spoke with thd assistant manager Myles. Well, let me tell you...I understand mistakes happen and it's up to us to fix them when we make them and Myles did that and more. He was so kind and apologetic but with direction and purpose to fix the issue now, not later. He had the driver bring it to me right away, but then the order was wrong but in my favor. I had a double order given and only charged 1 order. I'm not dishonest so I called and told him and what was still missing which I then found out, I had ordered several brackets from another location and it wasn't clear thats what happened. I can admit my mistakes so I came into town with my dad to pick up the items I needed. Myles met me at the customer service desk with my items and a gift card for the hassle. I didn't need the card but the getsure was noted and graciously accepted. We all make mistakes and we all need grace when we do and in this case the leader to the low man working the floor stepped up and did what was needed to make rhing right and a good experience. I will be using Rona on Betts Ave for all of my home renovations and maintenance in my work as well. You can't buy service like this and it needs to be uplifted so others can see what a truly happy return customer looks and sounds l Ike. Well done Myles and crew, hopefully the main boss recognizes your worth and rewards you accordingly. Thanks guys!

Place is always a complete dumpster fire when I try to look for something. It's either out of stock or just thrown on a shelf with no pricing. The complete store is a challenge to find anything and the website isn't any better . I always end up going to home depot as they have the best organization system plus their website tells you what isle its located in. The staff are always excellent to deal with but you just cant find anything you want .

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)

NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
