    I ordered an item that they posted on line as “ Available “ they then cancelled my order because they probably could not find it . Instead of bringing it in from another store or offering a substitute. They then continued to list is as “ IN STOCK “ to fool someone else .. I left a honest review and of course the “ MODERATE “ it .. Rona you can do better ! Have some respect for customers and censoring there opinion is also not acceptable.

    I went in the store today to purchase a shed. There were none left at the store but a young fellow named Kent advised me to order it online. The Rona system was not cooperating with me and would not accept the order. It took 45 minutes, a call to customer service and finally the help of a nice lady named Eda. She had a special bypass of the system and had the shed ordered in no time. Rona is lucky to have dedicated employees such as Kent and Eda. They stuck with me until the order was done and made sure I was a happy customer. Ten stars for excellent customer service! Thank you to you both. You made my day.

    This Rona is in pretty rough condition, stuff is super disorganized in the plumbing section. Most of the plumbing fittings are not labelled in the correct boxes and there’s not a lot of help available. Definitely gone downhill over the past year.

    Save your time and mental peace and go somewhere else. Worst customer service ever. Went there trying to spend 4 thousand of dollars, (bbq and renovating basement) left with nothing. And that was after being passed around from clueless employee to clueless employee for an hour. The evening went from an exciting time shopping and finally pulling the trigger on some big purchases to an empty handed drive home.

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience regarding RONA’s advertised one year tree replacement warranty. In May 2025, I purchased and planted more than a dozen trees from RONA. By May 2026, several of those trees showed no signs of life and failed to bud. Given the unusually late spring, delayed ground thaw, and slower than normal growing season this year, I waited patiently before contacting the store. When I first reached out, I was told that the trees could not be replaced because the store had limited inventory and had already sold out for the season. Since replacement was not possible, I requested a store credit that could be used in the Garden Centre. I was told management would review the situation and call me back. After waiting over a week with no response, I followed up myself. At that point, I was informed that management had decided not to provide a credit because their policy was “replacement only.” This response made little sense given that the store had already admitted they had no replacement inventory available. The conversation then shifted to questioning my irrigation system and watering practices. I requested a copy of the warranty requirements, replacement criteria, and any documentation outlining the conditions that must be met for a warranty claim. I also requested a call back from management. I received neither. What is most disappointing is not the loss of the trees. It is the complete lack of communication, accountability, and transparency. Prior to this experience, I felt confident purchasing trees from RONA because of the advertised warranty. Unfortunately, my experience suggests that the warranty exists more as a marketing tool than as a genuine customer satisfaction guarantee. A warranty has little value if replacements are unavailable and no reasonable alternative solution is offered. Customers deserve clear policies, consistent application of those policies, and management that follows through on commitments to contact them. Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in RONA’s tree warranty program and will think twice before making future landscape purchases there.
