This review may be a little long-winded so buckle in. In June, I went to our local Brick to obtain my refund on my unused warranty that we had purchased on a sectional. When I spoke to the customer service representative, they indicated that we had actually used the warranty and therefore the $350 was not available to us. I said that we did not use it and they informed me that seven months after we purchased our sectional we did have a technician come out. I then remembered that our sofa was not secure on one of the back cushions. It was discovered that a screw was missing . So at that point, I said you’re telling me that that one screw is costing me $350? Most expensive screw of my life…but I digress. I said that when I purchase something from the brick I expect it to have all the parts and to function properly. The Brick delivered and set up the sectional and it has never been moved from its original placement. I finally got to speak with a manager and indicated to her this was not a “me and the Brick problem, it was a Brick and manufacturer problem to which she finally conceded. So now I have my $350 warrantee refund, which I cannot get in cash but has to be used as a credit…. Then they say I have to spend $400 to get the $350 credit….. So we decide to buy a new television, to which the Brick informs us that the credit cannot be used on appliances or electronics!!! It would be nice for The Brick to show a little integrity….they make it so difficult to obtain this refund (credit), which is our money! They put the policy in place and then make it so difficult on the customer for them to honour the policy they put in place. BTW…I never leave reviews but this situation has been too disappointing to not let others know about it. Good luck and remember To put your warrantee expiration date in your phone as A reminder!!!!

To start with, this store was nothing but a disappointment. If there is an option I could have given minus rating. I purchased five different household appliances and was assured that everything I requested would be taken care of before I placed my order. Unfortunately, none of those promises were kept. I was initially told that my appliances would be delivered around the middle of July. When that date passed and I called for an update, I was told the delivery had been pushed back to August because one of the appliances was delayed. I visited the store to discuss the issue, and one of the sales managers seemed eager to help—likely because I was considering canceling my order. He offered me the option of upgrading to a larger model that was in stock if I paid the price difference. I agreed and paid the extra amount so my order could move forward. I was also told that the delivery team would move my old appliances wherever I wanted them. That never happened. To make matters worse, one of my new appliances arrived with dents and was clearly damaged. When I returned to the store and spoke to the same sales manager, his attitude completely changed. He told me that moving old appliances was never their policy and that replacing the damaged appliance would require going through a lengthy process. I don't care what the policy is when your own sales staff provide customers with incorrect information to make a sale. Once my order had been delivered, it felt like the store no longer cared. The sales manager simply directed me to customer service because, from his perspective, the sale was complete and there was no longer any risk of me canceling. Customer service then informed me it could take 7–15 business days just to hear back from the replacement department. There was absolutely no accountability from anyone at the store, despite the fact that I had clearly explained my requirements before making the purchase. Had I known this was how I would be treated, I would have never placed my order. To make things even worse, I later received a call offering me a partial refund if I agreed to keep the damaged appliance instead of having it replaced. I also asked to speak with the store manager and was told he was on vacation. The very next day, I walked into the store and saw the manager there myself. All I wanted was honest communication, reliable service, and a smooth purchasing experience. Instead, I dealt with delays, broken promises, damaged products, misleading information, and countless phone calls and trips back to the store just to resolve issues that should never have happened. I would not recommend buying anything from this store if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. Based on my experience, the customer service was poor, communication was inconsistent, and there was little accountability when problems arose. This was one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had, and I will not be returning.
