    We had the privilege of working with Nick today in the paint department. Very friendly and knowledgeable on products and brands. While we waited for the stain product to go through its shake process he took the time to give us some advice and teach us a few things that will help us in our deck staining process. Thank you so much Nick for all your help!

    I am extremely disappointed with the level of service at this Rona location. While the company focuses on rebranding, it is clear that significant employee training is urgently needed. I visited the store four separate times for a simple receipt reprint. Each time, staff misplaced their own notes and repeatedly gave the same explanation—that they “did not have access” to retrieve the receipt. In 2026, when most retailers offer e‑receipts, easy reprints, and digital lookup options, this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. The situation was made worse by the behavior of certain employees. One staff member, Ishan, acted as though requesting a receipt lookup was unreasonable. Additionally, he and other employees, including a department manager named Anil, were speaking among themselves in Hindi and using inappropriate language about us. They seemed unaware—or unconcerned—that customers from neighboring countries may understand what they are saying. After unnecessary back‑and‑forth, they finally allowed me to exchange my plant. However, the manager then pointed to a sign stating that perennials cannot be returned or exchanged without a receipt, completely ignoring the fact that I was there specifically to have the receipt reprinted. This experience reflects poorly on the brand. Rona’s reputation is being damaged not by policies, but by employees who fail to uphold basic standards of professionalism, customer service, and respect. If you want, I can also create a shorter version, a more formal corporate‑tone version, or a more assertive one depending on how you want it to appear publicly.
