  After looking for weeks for a recliner for my elderly mother, we finally found one at La-Z-Boy and after 2 trips and talking with 2 different sales people we find the one she wants which is the same type and color as the one on the floor. Yet it needs to be "special ordered". Delivery in 6 to 8 weeks. Seems kind of deceptive. We still purchased it but are not pleased with the wait time.

  Patti Cooper greeted me upon my arrival. After asking what I was looking for - a manual recliner with excellent lumbar support that I could comfortably sleep in - she led me to the appropriate section of the store and invited me to browse among the 50 or so choices (I don't know the number but there were a lot!) then left me alone. Every 20 minutes or so she would materialize, offering to answer any questions; when I wanted to talk she would stay and talk. I spent around three hours over two visits, trying chairs and photographing the ones I liked. Patti taught me how to distinguish which chairs were available with custom fabrics, which not. While showing me fabric samples she taught me to determine which fabrics were pet friendly, extra heavy duty or stain resistant and what the wait time would be for delivery. Patti demonstrated how to remove the chair back and re-install it (they are shipped in two pieces). Finally, I chose a chair in stock in the local warehouse (every chair on the showroom floor is evidently in stock in the local warehouse) and we determined that it would fit in my SUV if I wanted to pick it up on my way home. I did just that and, in fact, could have fit two chairs in the back. I was able to carry the chair into my house on my own and had it set up in a few minutes. That around two months ago and I could not be happier! This was my third attempt at a comfortable, good-for-my-posture chair. I had previously invested around over $5,000 without a good result and now, after spending only $725 (or so), tax included, am completely satisfied with my purchase. The last thing I want to say is if I could give Patti Cooper (and the whole La-Z-boy business model) 10 stars I wouldn't hesitate!

  I went into LaZ-Boy today to look for a sofa. I found the one I liked. I ordered it so that I could get the fabric & color that I wanted. The salesman, Brian was very helpful and not pushy at all. I really appreciated his help!

  I will not buy furniture from any other store. They have the best quality furniture with very resonable prices I have a recliner/rocking chair that I've had for over 15 years. And it still works very well, and there are no rips in the recliner/rocking chair, just a little wear and tear. and the sales staff are exceptionally helpful & friendly especially Patti C.They do not try to sell or pressure into buying anything that you're not shopping for. I just told them what I was looking for and they directed me to the section of what I wanted I was very pleased to be able to have a choice & purchased exactly what I wanted.
