- LLLink LeMay 2, 20265.0Took the frequent VTA 71 bus here to copy my house keys. Bought 3 basic brass keys (buy 2 get third key free, so $10 × 2 = $20 + tax = $23) When I got home I was sad that all 3 keys didn't work (insert but doesn't turn). After spending some time troubleshooting, I found the key inserted too deep, so I used a card (credit card thickness), place it between the door lock and the key shoulder, and it works somewhat consistently. I shouldn't have to do this in the first place, so I went to the email receipt, answered no (did you enjoy your experience with us?), and upon tapping no it opened the "how can we help you?" page to submit a request. I detailed my problems with the keys, as well as attaching a video of me showing the original key "just works" vs the copied key not working (doesn't turn) and only works if I put a card between the key shoulder and the door lock to see how KeyMe would response. A few hours later I got an email telling me I was issued a refund. There was a note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to show up, but I checked my credit card recent transactions and the refund showed up. I usually don't write reviews, so I'm giving 5 stars not because the keys work flawlessly, but because I was satisfied with the "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, no questions asked" (though it is possible that I wasn't asked any questions because I spend like 15 minutes detailing my problems and recording the video)
