  I have always wanted a a recliner! Was right by the Lazy-Boy in Mission Valley and decided to have a look, after all they are the Grandfather of what I was looking for! There was a wonderful sale happening and the adventure began. I was greeted warmly by the associate , Gil(?) and he was very patient and helpful and informative. The sales manager chimed in with even more information on the chair I did pick out and the young lady at the register area was just as informed, it was a fun and attentive group. They did their job and now I have my dream recliner! Great experience, thanks to all of them, so go and check them out when you need some new furniture and terrific service!

  Very positive experience on our sales experience. We will not get our sectional for 6-8 weeks but I am certain we will love it! Our sales guy, Liam was very professional, helpful and patient. We never felt pressure even though it took a few visits and a few weeks to make a decision. The design consultant visit to help make final decisions was a perk! We appreciated having Alyssa and Fernando in our home for their expertise.

  Bought two recliners - one custom, one on clearance. Service in store was very attentive. Designer home visit for furniture placement planning was helpful. Delivery crew was great. Only negative was that the ball got dropped on prepping the clearance chair - I requested and paid for cleaning and fabric treatment - resulting in that chair not being delivered as soon as promised.

  We bought a Sparrow Rocker for my senior mother who lives in an Assisted Living facility. The chair cost around $1,600, which is a lot of money. The manager, salesperson, and other staff at the San Diego La-Z-boy store were very nice and helpful and the chair took about 4 weeks to arrive. My mom likes the chair‘s look and comfort, but is disappointed the chair slides; it moves backwards every time she gets up. We put a rug underneath it to try and help, but the chair still slides back close to the wall whenever she gets up. She has to pull the chair forward every time she goes to sit down or it will hit the wall when she reclines. This is hard for her as she has mobility issues and uses a cane and walker. She is 5’3” and weighs 140 pounds. We were not expecting the chair to move. We turned it over and the chair does not appear to have very substantial legs. The wood legs appear light weight and not the quality we were expecting. Overall, the chair looks nice and is comfortable to sit in, but because it has a tendency to slide back when getting out of it, we can’t recommend it for a person with mobility issues.

  We needed a couch. Currently, we have only one recliner in our living room along with a weight bench and weights. It’s great for one person but does not provide any sitting options for another person. Guests are out of the question. To be honest, I like it like that. Alas, I don’t live alone. I have a husband and a son. They want to spend time watching tv and conversing with me sometimes. Sigh. Fine. So we go in this journey to find a couch. First stop, Lazy-Boy. We found this amazing double reclining love seat that was perfect. We didn’t really want a couch sooooo… we got two. Perfect! Barbara our salesperson was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. A little talkative but hey. She said all the right things. When it came time for the quote, she was taking a long time so we left to visit other stores. That was our plan anyway since our motto is to never buy the first thing you come across. Unfortunately the other stores didn’t even come close. We weren’t even shopping for a better price, just better options. None. Lazy-Boy had exactly what we wanted even though we didn’t know it when we started shopping. We told Barbara our challenges with the cats scratching up furniture and she had just the right solution with the fabric choice. We thought we had to buy leather, we weren’t against it, but she gave us a better option that was on sale. So she saved us money and for us, the pieces that fit our lifestyle. That was the best part. I found that this store sales lifestyle solutions rather than moving pieces that don’t fit. I love that! Currently, waiting on my delivery this Saturday to change up this space.
