    Kevin in hardware was very helpful. Saw me confused, offered assistance, refined advice I’d got from AI, and solved my problem $7 cheaper than I’d anticipated. Saw him solve two sets of customers’ problems while I was trying to figure out my project myself too. Effective worker.

    On 12/27/2025, we purchased a new refrigerator from the Lowe’s in Mission Valley. The sales persons did not inform us of any installation requirements, but sold us yet another water line for the refrigerator. The following day, the installation team arrived and stated that the water line could not run through cabinets because the company was concerned about leaks. We stated that we would assume responsibility since this has never been an issue. We offered to connect the water line ourselves under the technician’s supervision and he agreed. They brought in the refrigerator, plugged it in, and put the newly purchased waterline inside the refrigerator stating that he would be right back. They went to their truck and left! I called the company, Next Final Mile Home Delivery for Lowes whereby staff stated that same policy was from Lowes. Nearly 50% of all older homes were built in San Diego prior to the 1990s; many of which probably upgraded refrigerators and simply had a waterline ran through the cabinets. If Lowes has policies in place to limit appliance installation to half of San Diego, then the sales people need to ask when homes were built; ensure that sales staff state all of Lowes’ regulations for appliance installation; and offer a waiver for leaks beyond 12 inches of the refrigerator. The poor customer service, partial installation, and drop & run tactics simply ensures that we will not use Lowes again.

    Awful experience ordering appliances. Had them delivered to my house and left them in boxes without installing. After spending hours on the phone because they subcontract everything I may actually get installed. This is a huge waste of my time
