- SSSeeTheWorldJan 29, 20261.0Lowe's is very challenged with deliveries. We placed an order on a Wed for some tile to be delivered. It included a fee for delivery. The delivery was supposed to arrive on Sat and the order was confirmed. We got a call from the store the next day. They told us that they put the order on the wrong truck and it would be delayed by 4 days. The store is only 30 min from our house. We asked if we could pickup the order at the store to get it sooner. We needed the tile before Wed. They said no, that's not possible. It's ridiculous and horrible customer service. We then placed a 2nd order for pickup the next day. It was the only option to get some of the tile sooner. That process went smoothly. In total, they canceled delivery of the original order 3x which included losing track of it 2x. We gave up, canceled the original order and drove 40 miles to South San Jose to get the rest of what we needed. Lowe's outsources delivery and the system doesn't work at all. Never again.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
