  RUN as far as you can away from this place! They deserve negative 9 stars, particularly Michael. I have done business with many storage rentals and I knew years ago that I never wanted to be a customer of E tra Space because of their PREDATORY business practices (astronomical unexpected price increases, made up extra fees, etc) so as a customer of Life Storage i was distressed to find Extra Space had taken over. I never had any problems until then. Enter Extra Space and enter problems. I used to run my account with autopay and never had any issues. Then suddenly I am unable to make payment online, the chatbot says I was BLOCKED FROM MAKING AN ONLINE PAYMENT. Called Michel, it was due to some invisible made up charges he had added to my account. We get though that, and it happens several more times, forcing me to go down there in person. Very inconvenient because I live over an hour away. Whatever, Michael needs attention, so I give him the attention he is desiring. I discover that my dinky unit would cost less than half what I'm paying if I were a new customer so we set up a Move out to another unit. He tells me it is $119 per month. Period. Never says its introductory pricing or anything. Doesn't mention all the little made up fees to move out and back in, so I only have $39 credit to rollover to next month, when it should have been lots more. Whatever. So I get moved and think to myself, finally, now can I live my life without being hassles by my stupid storage company? Nope! *next thing I know I am getting called THREE TIMES A DAY OR MORE BY MICHAEL. Calling my brother, calling me, what is your problem NOW, Michael? There is no reason for us to have to communicate beyond this, so what is your drama about? I BLOCKED HIM BECAUSE IT WAS HARASSMENT AT THIS POINT. If you can't state your Business, you need to get off my phone. So I finally get a bunch of emails welcoming me to Extra space wanting me to finish up my lease paperwork at $169 per month! ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? I went to pay online, and oh hey why do I literally have four accounts now? All the same mind you, but which one is real? I paid online last night and the total was $145. Why then today does my bank say I was charged 165? Why can I now not access just a basic receipt? WHY DO YOU MAKE UP FEES AND DO SUCH SHADY BUSINESS? Get ready for a chargeback and a letter from my attorney. As for anyone looking for storage, RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN! I havent even mentioned how much stuff I had to throw away due to WATER DAMAGE and RODENT DAMAGE, and the GIANT DEAD RAT! This place is foul, and I will upload photos of the giant dead rat, and the multiple mouse skeletons if anyone is interested. LMK.

  I had a great experience at this storage location for over 3 years. Michael, the manager, always went above and beyond to help me. He is so friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
