Very disappointing experience at the Roseville Lowe’s. I came in to return an unopened item with a valid receipt, which should have been a simple process, but instead I was kept waiting for nearly an hour by a customer service employee named Brian. During the return, I was repeatedly questioned in an unnecessary and inappropriate way, including being asked which door I entered through and having coworkers consulted without any clear reason. I felt singled out and treated with suspicion rather than as a paying customer, which came across as discriminatory and deeply disrespectful. The situation escalated to the point where Roseville Police Department was called, reviewed the matter, and after everything was checked, my refund was ultimately processed. This entire situation was completely unnecessary and caused significant stress over a straightforward return. Lowe’s management should pay serious attention to the conduct and customer treatment at this location, specifically regarding Brian in customer service. Customers deserve respectful, professional service—not to be treated unfairly during a routine return.

Lowe's needs to learn from their number one competition in California and make some form or communication system for customers to ask for assistance for locked up items. We have to roam around trying to find employees who are not busy to help unlock basic stuff. This is such a big waste of time and effort I had to leave when they had exactly what I needed, but I couldn't find anyone to unlock it. If my knee wasnt bothering me I may of waited, but if accommodating your customers ia not that important then I am glad I left.

Had a great experience, was helped by Frioz and Neyer in the paint section. I really wanted a mini bucket, was told they were sold out for MONTHS. Kinda had a feeling but after 5 min I see them speed walking over to hand me TWO mini buckets in the green. Totally made my day, thank you!!!!

I don’t normally do these, but I felt I needed to with this one. I went into Lowe’s this past week because I am getting ready to sell my house and I had a lot of items I needed to find and purchase. I spent 30 minutes looking around and asking questions and not a SINGLE person I talked to gave me any useful answers! Then luckily, a young man named Chris was passing by and asked if I needed any help, so I told him all the things I needed that I could remember off of the top of my head, and he pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote the Aisle and the bay to find EVERY SINGLE item I had listed. He was absolutely right with every single item as well. So, I took those items home and came back, and once again, everyone I asked for help could not help me. No one gave me any sort of good answers to anything! I even supposedly spoke to a manager named Parker and he gave me an answer that helped with absolutely nothing!!!! So I finally asked someone where to find Chris and I was directed to the garden area, where I find him helping customers and directing other workers, while lifting a large shed box by himself as the others watched. Yet afterwards, he still smiled and asked if I needed any help. So I explain my issues and the things I needed to figure out and he suggested several items to me and walked me to those aisle’s and helped me pick things out. (All of those items he suggested worked perfectly.) Out of all the people in the huge store, only one person was able to help me. It felt to me that Chris was practically running that store himself! I even asked the poor guy why he doesn’t just run the store himself? He told me, “I pick up where others lack. It helps more than you’d think.” I could go on and on about this, but I am going to stop here because I think you get the point if you’re reading this. I am giving this store a 2 star rating because of how terrible 99% of the store was, and the only reason it got those 2 stars was because of Chris. I pray for more young men like him, and pray he gets help at that store.

I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer for a long time, but my experience at this location today was beyond frustrating and offensive. I went to the customer service desk to return a bottle of liquid fertilizer ordered online. There were two staff members at the counter; one was helping a customer, and the other (a white female staff member) was just chatting with a colleague. When I approached the open station, she dismissed me and told me to wait for the other busy staff member so she could continue her conversation. Fortunately, the person who eventually helped me was professional and finished the return in under a minute. The most ridiculous part happened when I was leaving. I was walking out through the exit near the return desk, holding the empty clear plastic bag and the protective fabric (from the return I had just completed). The same staff member who refused to help me earlier stopped me and demanded to see a receipt, questioning if I had paid for the items. Even after I clearly explained the situation, she didn't offer a single word of apology for her mistake or her rude attitude. Being ignored while staff chat and then being baselessly questioned as I leave is unacceptable. This kind of service is unprofessional and makes loyal customers feel unwelcome. I am extremely disappointed.
