I brought my high-heel shoes in to have the elastic fasteners replaced. I was charged $35, which I thought was quite a bit. But I didn't have my phone to find another place. When I picked up, they had sewn the elastic to the outside of the shoe; not opening up and hiding the band within the shoe. Several strings were hanging from it as well. Looks bad. Thank goodness the buckle hides it. But I know its there. For $35, I would have expected a much better job.
