  I visited Hobby Lobby yesterday to pick up supplies for my small business, and unfortunately, my experience at checkout was very disappointing. There was a sign on the shelf listing an item for $2.99. There were only a few left—some even damaged—but I selected the remaining usable ones. When I got to the register, I politely asked the cashier, Marissa, if she could verify the price for me. Instead of assisting, she told me the sign was for something else and said if I wanted to verify, I could go check it myself. She then repeatedly asked if I still wanted the items, without offering any help. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. As a 100% disabled veteran, single mother, and small business owner, I rely on stores like this for supplies and expect at least basic customer service and respect. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just a quick price check. I did purchase the items, but the way I was treated left a lasting negative impression. Customer service matters, and this experience did not reflect the level of care I would expect.
