I never write negative reviews but I just had the worst experience at this world market. I didn’t get her name but a teller with long brown hair and antlers on wouldn’t sell us Christmas presents because they included alcohol and my mother and I had our 20 year old brother with us helping load all the gifts on the counter. We were about to buy hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise for our family members Christmas presents but because of her we walked out with nothing. We asked if we could leave it on hold and come in without him and she told us no. She would not sell to us because she knew he was part of our family. I wish I had gotten her name but we were so devastated after spending hours picking out the perfect gifts we didn’t and her hair was covering her name tag. She was a true Scrooge. If I could leave zero stars for her I would.

Was shopping with my mother and they wouldnt let her buy the alcohol products we picked out for gifts because I had put them on the counter and not her. Again, I repeat, they didn't let my clearly middle aged mother buy alcohol because her underage daughter put it on the counter. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

This review is of the Store Manager not the Workers in the store. We purchased 3 lamp shades from the store. My wife just had cataract Surgery and was out for the first time in a long time to shop. She found three lamp shades on a shelf marked at 39.99 and so she decided to purchase them for our house. Once we got them home she noticed on the receipt that we were charged 69.99 a shade. My wife called the store and spoke with the Store Manager. When she was talking to her the Manager let her know in a rude tone that she “Should have read the tags” well as we know none of the items are marked in the store (Store Policy – I assume). My wife mentioned that to her again with the same response. At that point my wife decided to bring them back and at the same time talk with the Manager. We walked in and the store clerk was very nice and started the return. My wife asked to talk to the Manager about the issue that happen in the store and on the phone. The Manager walked up and my wife was in the middle of the return, however, the Manager started to discuss the issue. She was very dismissive and disrespectful by her body language and deem er. She said “I took pictures of the issue after your call” well we had purchased all the shades in question so that was an incorrect statement. My wife asked for her Manager and she wasn't willing to write it down for us and just said “Call the Corporate Office” we again asked for the name to be written down and she said “No”. We completed the return and while we were in the store she was on the phone – probably talking to her boss – CYA. Well, just letting people know if you have to deal with the Manager “Good Luck” the staff are wonderful in the store.
