Aline was the best, she let us try at our pace, stress-free, ALL of the couchs. And even after we pivoted our choice at the last minute she was still all smile and walked us through the order process. We are now only waiting for our order to come home. Thanks a lot.

Warning! Extended warranty store scam!
Be very careful if you buy furniture here! When I made my purchase, they sold me an extended warranty, promising that if I didn't end up using it, I would get all my money back as a store credit for another purchase after 5 years.
Be aware that this is a complete scam. What they don't emphasize is that you only have a strict 3-month window at the end of the 5 years to claim it. If you miss that deadline by even a single day, they won't give you a single penny back and your money is gone for good.
NEVER buy their extra warranties. Don't fall for this trap!
Quebec Law (Consumer Protection Act - CPA)
Statute of Limitations (Prescription): As a general rule in Quebec, the prescription period to claim a right or a sum of money is 3 years. Restricting this right to a tiny 3-month window to recover your own money in the form of a store credit is considered an abusive clause.
Legal Warranty: Furthermore, the CPA already provides a free legal warranty for the reasonable lifespan of furniture. Selling an extended warranty by using "guaranteed refund/credit" as a sales pitch is heavily regulated.
My Next Steps: (I'll keep you updated here)
Demand Letter: I will send them a formal demand letter citing Article 1437 of the Civil Code of Quebec (abusive clause) as well as the relevant sections of the Consumer Protection Act regarding deceptive practices.
OPC Complaint: File an official complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (Consumer Protection Bureau). The OPC has previously penalized furniture retailers for enforcing overly restrictive conditions on unused warranty credits.
