Very disappointed with both the product and horrible customer service at The Brick (LaSalle, Newman Street).
I purchased a queen bed frame, but after assembling it, there was a large gap between the mattress and headboard. The salesperson never mentioned that a box spring was required.
When I returned to the store to ask for a solution, the manager was extremely rude, refused to listen, and even told me to “get out”.
The Bricks recommended purchasing a mattress base to fix the issue, but the brand new mattress base came in with 2 holes.
I would not recommend this location based on my experience. Never buy anything from brick.

I have left a review in the past but it seems to no longer be present.
The Brick delivered a fridge to one of the units in my building and completely destroyed all of the flashing and door handle.
They would not take responsibility and hid behind their subcontractor that does the deliveries. The subcontractor hides behind The Brick. It took months and no resolution, fixed it myself as winter was approaching and there was exposed wood framing.
Do not under any circumstances do business with The Brick and especially this location. Customer service was so horrendous that upon seeing a truck drive by this morning I came to make sure my review was still here 3 years later.

We bought a sofa today and had a really positive experience thanks to Jean-François. He greeted us warmly and made us feel at ease right away, which set the tone for the whole visit. What we appreciated most was that he gave us space to look around and think, without hovering or trying to rush us into a decision.
He was there when we had questions, offered helpful input, and kept things relaxed the entire time. It honestly didn’t feel like the usual sales experience. On top of that, he has a great sense of humor in English and French, which made the process more enjoyable than we expected.
Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience, and we’re really happy with our purchase. Big thanks to Jean-François for making it easy and stress-free.

Ce soir, nous sommes allés magasiner chez Brick à Ville LaSalle, et nous avons eu la chance de croiser le chemin de Monsieur Poirier… et quelle belle rencontre.
Dans un monde où l’on se sent parfois pressé d’acheter, il a su faire tout le contraire. Il a pris le temps. Le temps de nous écouter, réellement. Le temps de comprendre nos besoins, nos envies, mais aussi notre réalité et notre budget. Il ne cherchait pas à vendre… il cherchait à bien faire.
Ses questions étaient justes, bienveillantes, toujours dans le respect. On sentait une réelle volonté de nous guider, et non de nous influencer. Et ça, c’est précieux.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
