Extremely disappointing experience — I strongly recommend avoiding Leon’s.
I ordered several pieces of furniture from Leon’s almost two months ago, expecting that after such a long wait, everything would be ready and delivered correctly. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
After the delivery, I was told that some of my furniture was not even ready to ship. At that point, I had already waited almost two months, so I had no practical choice but to accept what was delivered and continue waiting for the remaining items.
Then things got even worse. When I opened the bed, I discovered that one of the headboard posts was the wrong part. Because of this mistake, I could not properly assemble or use my bed and was forced to sleep on the floor.
I immediately contacted customer service. Their solution was that they could send the correct part, or I could drive to their warehouse in Laval and pick it up myself. After waiting nearly two months and receiving an incorrect part, I find it completely unreasonable that I should have to solve their mistake by driving to their warehouse myself.
This has been an extremely frustrating experience from beginning to end: long delays, incomplete delivery, incorrect parts, and very disappointing customer service.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that people think twice before purchasing furniture from Leon’s. I personally would not purchase from Leon’s again.
A company selling furniture should be able to deliver the correct products within a reasonable time and take responsibility when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Leon’s.

15 minutes, j'ai même crier "Allo!" Et j'ai une voix qui porte et on n'a pas vu un Chat. Regarder rapidement et zéro services. On est partie. On va acheter chez Costco.

Unethical , deceptive and abusive.
Went to this location on Friday evening to buy a sofa and a TV set for my son who is relocating from DAL to Carleton University in Ottawa. We were greeted by a salesman who told us that it was our lucky day because of all the promotions including “they pay the tax” I disclosed that the reason why this was being bought was for my son and that delivery would need to be at his apartment in Ottawa. I was told that this was no problem. Bueno. So we shopped and selected a sofa and a tv where the combined total was about 2500$ . He told us we would get an additional 200$ off plus the amount equivalent to the taxes and that delivery is “free”. Done deal - or so we thought.
When we went to the cash the information from his tablet didn’t port over to their point of sale so they entered it all manually. We were then presented with a bill of around 2700$. We pointed out the discrepancy and the sales person came to the pos and the other the clerk operating the terminal they said they would fix it. Next they presented an invoice that was at a reduced amount but then added a delivery charge. There was no deduction for them “paying an amount equivalent to the taxes” deducted. We pointed this out and they went to a back office to either call or speak with someone who obviously didn’t want to intervene and solve this. Upon returning they said they could not deduct the taxes because delivery is in Ontario. Actually you cannot deduct the taxes in Quebec either and that is why the promotion is to discount with an amount equivalent to the taxes. Then they said that they couldn’t honour the free delivery. Back to square one (about one hour wasted by now).
In a last ditch effort to offer them the opportunity to do the right thing and honour the price and conditions that were offered I said , “look, if it’s $100 more that will make this happen I’ll pay it even if that was not the deal”. They refused and did not offer any possible or reasonable resolution.
Now I have purchased many items at Leon’s over the years and this was one of my “go to” stores BUT NOT anymore.
We often lament when Canadian-owned businesses fail and shutter but after this experience I confess that I will neither return nor shed even one tear if this customer hostile business fails. For should it fail it will be on account of their disrespectful, unethical, deceptive and abusive business practices such as this.
