- LPLiz PillarApr 6, 20261.0I had a really disappointing experience at Lowe’s recently. While shopping, I was approached by a saleswoman while looking for plants. At first, she seemed friendly, but the interaction quickly became uncomfortable. She followed me throughout the store, repeatedly trying to start conversations and push solar products, even after I made it clear I wasn’t interested. What bothered me most was the use of scare tactics and inaccurate information about energy costs and risks of not switching to solar. It felt more like intense pressure than helpful customer service. I go to Lowe’s to shop in peace, not to be pursued around the store or made to feel uneasy. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I guess I'm switching to Home Depot now.

- MBManon bcFeb 15, 20261.0I was at Lowes on 47th street east in Palmdale, CA on February 13, 2026. Amanda in the customer service department assisted me. I received bad service from her. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but my experience was not at all positive. One of the main reasons that I shop at Lowes is their customer service. I hope that she is retrained or works in the back away from customers.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
