I purchased a dishwasher from Lowe’s as part of a home remodel and one of many. The very first time I used it, it leaked water all over my kitchen floor. The manufacturer sent an independent repair technician who determined the unit had a manufacturing defect and could not be repaired. He confirmed it needed to be replaced. While Lowe’s agreed to replace the dishwasher, they told me I would have to pay out of pocket to have the defective unit removed, transport it back to the store, pick up the replacement, and then pay again for delivery and installation. In other words, I was expected to cover the costs for their defective product. I’ve spent a significant amount of money at this store over the years and purchased almost everything for my remodel here. This experience was extremely disappointing and not how loyal customers should be treated.

Zero stars. They are clueless and if you asked they probably could not spell "customer service". Save yourselves a headache and go to Home Depot accross the street.

I wanted to recognize two helpful employees at Lowes, Nathan and Oscar. We went Thursday night to purchase a refrigerator, under this stressful circumstance, these two employees went above and beyond to help us. Both worked together to get us the items we needed and helped load them in our truck. We need more Nathan and Oscar in our stores.

On 2/14 I went to Lowe’s panicked because there was missing parts from furniture I had ordered. Nathan went above and beyond searching one by one to make sure I left with the right screw. I hope Lowe’s takes good care of Nathan because there are not too many people left like him.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
