Steve in Plumbing was an absolute hero! We had a 10ft pipe that needed to be 9' 6". He was able to cut it to our exact specs and thread it while we waited. So thankful for Steve!

Warning to Homeowners - Read This Before You Use Lowe’s for Windows & Patio Doors I’m sharing this to help others avoid what has become a long, frustrating, and costly experience. What began as a straightforward window and patio door project at my home in December 2024 turned into a prolonged, chaotic process that remained partially unresolved more than a year and one half later (May 2026). Here’s the reality of what I experienced: • No accountability – Lowe’s operates through a layered subcontractor model where responsibility is unclear and frequently shifts • Product defects – Multiple windows and the patio/screen door arrived with defects • Installation failures – Windows and doors were improperly installed, bypassing standard building practices • Chronic miscommunication – Installers, store personnel, and corporate representatives were consistently out of sync, providing conflicting information • Forged signature – An installer forged my name on the Certificate of Completion, falsely certifying the work as satisfactory • Delays at every stage – Repeated setbacks with little urgency or ownership • Corporate deflection – Once issues surfaced, the focus shifted to internal process and policy rather than resolution. I sent the CEO, Marvin Ellison, a certified letter outlining the issues which resulted in more delays, miscommunication and total lack of a customer centric approach. • Extensive documentation – I’ve invested over 200 hours documenting interactions, emails, and detailed records • Credit dispute abandonment – While disputing charges with the Lowe’s credit card company, Lowe’s refused to intervene, forcing me to manage ongoing collection pressure while trying to resolve the project • Partial resolution only – As of March 31, 2026 (16 months later), replacement windows and patio door reconstruction were completed, but I am now pursuing a small claims case to recover significant out-of-pocket expenses I incurred in good faith This is not about a single mistake; it reflects a system that breaks down when problems arise. My advice to any homeowner - Based on my experience, I would not use Lowe’s for window and patio door projects. This occurred at my home in Palm Desert, but the issues appear systemic, not location-specific. I’m sharing this so others can make informed decisions—and avoid the time, stress, and financial impact I’ve experienced.

I had a great experience at Lowe’s Home Improvement. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which made finding everything I needed quick and stress-free. The staff really stood out—friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to help without being pushy. I especially appreciated how well-stocked the store was. Whether you’re tackling a small home project or a larger job, they seem to have everything on hand. The checkout process was smooth, and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Overall, this location delivers great customer service and a solid selection. Definitely one of the better home improvement stores in the area—I’ll be coming back for future projects.

Go to Home Depot, or use Amazon. This place is poorly run, and the personnel routinely give incorrect or misleading information on product usage, return policy, and even where things are located in their own store... Truly a confederate of retailers with little or no knowledge whatsoever - you'd get better guidance on hardware at the Gap or Aldi..

I had a great experience at Lowe’s thanks to Jimmy. He went above and beyond to help me with my project. Not only did he make sure I had everything I needed, but he also personally walked with me through the store to find each item. Being a wheelchair user sometimes makes things hard when shopping when trying to carry items on my lap. His patience, knowledge, and willingness to help really stood out. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely cares about making sure customers are taken care of the right way. Jimmy made the whole process easy and stress-free.Customer service like this is rare these days, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed. I truly appreciate his help and would gladly come back because of the experience he provided. Thanks Jimmy, see ya again bud.
